When it comes to dairy products, opt for pasteurized versions. Raw milk can harbor harmful bacteria that might lead to foodborne illnesses. Prioritize food safety by selecting products that have undergone proper pasteurization processes.

Vigilance extends to the appearance of the foods you choose. Always steer clear of items that exhibit off-colors, particularly in meats, produce, and bread. Mold and discoloration can be indicative of spoilage or contamination.
